Installing console lid switch device
Insert the relevant device provided into your PlayStation as shown in the
provided pictures below. This device is to hold down the 'closed lid indicator'
so that swapping games can be done without the PlayStation / PSone detecting
that the lid is open. |

Place the bottom metal part of the spring into the door switch recess |

Place the head of the spring over the door switch post |

Peel off backing paper to expose adhesive surface. Insert
tab into tray switch and press down firmly to secure in place. |
