TwistTool instruction
TWISTTOOL TWIST-TOOL TWIST TOOL

This is a simple instruction of using the SwapMagic discs on the v13, v14, v15 and v16 (SCPH-77xxxx) PStwo console.

By using the TwistTool, you don't need to open your console to do modification, that means you will not void the warranty.

First open the disc drive lid and locate the two disc sensors and the break for the disc. You need to install two small tools to activate the switches and a plug to stop the disk break.

1) The first micro switch for the Twist-Tool A is at the small hole near the right corner.

2) The disc break for the Twist-Tool B locate at the inner right side near the disc concave.

3) The second micro switch for the Twist-Tool C is at the small hole near the right corner.

The first micro switch for the PSTwo FIX A is at the small hole near the right corner:

Here see you the position from the first micro switch and the new cover design so that the PSTwo-Fix or SlimTool (or SlimTool clones) cannot be installed.

Push the TwistTool A into the sensory hole. Due to the special synthetic material fits the Twist-Tool A exactly in the hole without slipping out.
On this picture see you the Twist-Tool A when it was installed correctly.

The disc break for the Twist Tool B locate at the inner right side near the disc concave:

On this picture see you the position for
the Twist-Tool B in unmodified form.
Move the disc break switch with the help of a small pen or a small scredriver to the right and hold it in this position.
Put the TwistTool B in the left hole from the disc break switch.
On this picture see you the Twist-Tool B when it was installed correctly.

The second micro switch for the Twist Tool C is at the small hole near the right corner:

On this picture see you the position for
the TwistTool C in unmodified form with the new metal cover protection so that the PSTwo-Fix or SlimTool (or SlimTool clones) cannot be installed.

Info: the metal cover from the SCPH-77xxxx is on the front a little crooked.

Use now a small screwdriver to enlarge the back hole between the DVD lid and the metal cover.
Now use a small screwdriver to enlarge the front hole between the DVD lid and the metal cover.
Insert now a original disc (SwapMagic disc) and power on the PSTwo. At next move TwistTool C as shown in the next picture in the direction of the hinge. The round side points to below and the middle round bar is in the hole between the two metal pieces.
On this picture see you the Twist-Tool C in the correct position for the next step.

Important: the middle round bar must be in the hole between the two metal pieces.
Now insert a small screwdriver to enlarge the front hole between the DVD lid and the metal cover.
Use now a other small screwdriver to push the Twist Tool C down in the gap between the metal clip
and the hinge. Push it first on the back and then on the front side down. Repeat the process till it is vertically inside.
Move now the Twist-Tool C to the front side from the hole as shown on the right picture.
Now twist the TwistTool C around a half turn.
On this picture see you the Twist-Tool C when it was twisted correctly.
Push the Twist Tool C downwards and when it was laying flat your console and the disc starts spinning than your PSTwo is ready for use.

If the disc don´t starts to spinning than pull the Twist Tool C up and try it again (but don´t remove it completely).

The Twist-Tool can be left in your console because it works with original CD / DVD discs without any problems. The cover can be left open or closed when playing your games.

If all switches had been pressed than you can place the Swap Magic disc into the driver. And when the disc stops spinnig than you can replace the Swap Magic disc with the backup or import game disc :-)
