How to boot PlayStation 2 Imports / Backups / Originals:

With the disc assumed in the CD tray and the CD tray closed power up normally from "STANDBY" with the "RESET" button. A single tap is required.

How to boot PlayStation (PSX) Imports / Backups / Originals:

With the disc assumed in the CD tray and the CD tray closed power up from "STANDBY" with the "RESET" button held until the blue "EJECT" light comes on; then release "RESET" and the disk will boot.

How to boot DVD movies:

With the DVD assumed in the CD tray and the CD tray closed power up from "STANDBY" with the "RESET" button held until the blue "EJECT" light comes on; then release "RESET" and the DVD will boot.

How to deactivate the Magic PRO ModChip:

Without a disc assumed in the CD tray and the CD tray closed power up from "STANDBY" with the "RESET" button. Hold it down for 5 seconds then release it.

To enable the Magic PRO Modchip switch off the PS-2 power or press "RESET" button until the red light is on (Standby Mode).

Please turn off the PS2 (to standby) before changing the mode (PS1 / PS2 / DVD)
