The DUO3 GT is here, this is the offical replacement to the great DUO2 GT. The Duo3 now features 3.3v for better stability in PS2 models ranging from v1-v16. The DUO-3 also comes with a external status LED to let you know the chip is functioning. With the AMD system (automatic media detection system) can you direct boot any PS1 (PSX) and PS2 Imports / Backups (CD, DVD, CD-R, DVD-R, CD-RW, DVD-RW) without no swapping to different modes! The DUO3 GT is compatible with all USA, EUR, JAP PlayStation2 consoles (NTSC, PAL) and DVD 9 and Multidisc ready.With the new disable function (really disable function - not stealth mod !), is the Duo-3 Mod Chip network and online ready - boot with reset for 5 seconds and the chip turns off and leaving the PlayStation2 in it's 100% original state.

The DUO-2 GT was a great chip, and now that great chip has got just that little bit better. So if you were a DUO fan or you are looking for a cheaper but very good chip, we think your going to like the new eddition to the family the DUO 3.
