The v12 SlimTool does not make any changes to the internal system of your PlayStation 2. So when using the v12 Slim-Tool your PStwo is operating completely normal. Playing PS2 and PS1 original games as it should, and playing DVD movies as it should. No difference there. But when using the v12 Slim Tool in conjunction with the SwapMagic Discs (not included), you will be able to play original PS2 imports, CDR, DVD-R backup games!

Normally when installing a PSTwo backup solution (Mod-Chip, Flip-Top cover), you have to open your console and break the warranty seal. Thats all history now! You do not even have to open the console, therefore your Sony warranty stays intact!
