The Magic 3.1 ModChip allows you to play any PlayStation (PSX) and PlayStation 2 Imports / Backups (CD, DVD, CD-R, DVD-R, CD-RW, DVD-RW) on your PlayStation2 console without swap method and without the help of an ActionReplay 2 or GameShark 2. The PS2 Magic 3.1 Mod Chips are compatible with v1-v7 USA, EUR, JAP PlayStation consoles (NTSC, PAL) with the exception of early Japanese, special order units with 010 BIOS (SCPH-10000 and SCPH-15000). Imagine playing all of your favorite PlayStation 2 Imports and CD-R, DVD-R Backups without any required swaps whatsoever. The new Magic 3.1 ModChip is DVD9 ready and features a sleep / stealth function - boot with reset for 5 seconds and the chip turns off.
