2007 has one gameconsole manufacturer started (again) with many complain against ModChip suppliers and manufacturers in much countrys over the world (USA, Europe - amount in controversy each complain more then 500.000,- Euros). Due to the financial superiority from this gameconsole manufacturer nobody from the relevant people can´t deposit the court and counselors costs and therefore they stop selling this products, close unfair or forced agreements with this manufacturer and must also pay very much money to him. Due to the large repayments, the most of the relevant suppliers and manufacturers must close forever and the future from this peoples is uncertain ... we have also got the information that one person has prepared herself due to the very high repayments!

Is this freedom?
But why is this so, because free peoples buy gameconsoles for a lot of money and now they can only play games (or cuted games) from the same region. Import games (uncuted or cheaper games), Hombrews and other tools are not possible to play with this original console. Also backups from legal buyed games are unpossible - and if you have children then you know a disc is very fast scratched!

The answer from the game community
Due to this inequity and the greed from one gameconsole manufacturer MODCHIP.org was established 2008 from a large game community. A Team with one of the best developers, designers, network engineers - a Team from underground guys from much countrys over the world - a Team for one intention: freedom for all peoples to play their legal import games hombrews and much other tools!

Be fair and buy your games / software
But we highlight explicit: to use backup games you must observe the copyright law from your country and you must also have the original game disc - therefore be fair and buy it! MODCHIP.org don´t support any illegal game, movie and music copies and we don´t support any torrent networks or other file sharing server / software.

But we recommend - be fair and buy your gameconsole and your games from a manufacturer which one tolerates your freedom for imports and backups. And this is Microsoft with the amazing Xbox360 / Xbox (but only on the gaming sector because for servers and workstations we high recommend LINUX :)
